Special children spors day
Maithree, an association of parents of exceptional children celebrated the annual sports day held on Sunday 13 September from 3 p.m. onwards at Police Training College, Ashok Nagar, Chennai 600083.
*Mr. V.Arumugam, IPS Assistant Commissioner of Police Ashok Nagar took the Salute and hoist the flag.
*Ms. Prasanna Jayasankar Chief Welfare inspector – Sports Southern Railway led the torch relay and lighted the games flame.
*Padmashree Ms.Shiny Wilson General Manager (PR and Sports) Food Corporation of India, Chennai declared the sports meet open.
*All the Parents and special children attended in this sport event. Around 450 special students participated in this sports event.
Maithree, an association of parents of exceptional children is an institution committed to the welfare of persons with mental retardation. The objective of Maithree is to provide an array of services encompassing the entire life span of the special child / person.
